They celebrated the occasion with a dinner for the immediate family and a renewal of their marriage vows during a Mass at St. Barbara's Catholic Church.

Dinner hosts will be their children and spouses: Theresa Hornbrook and Chris and Greg Kestner, all of Massillon, Kathy and Dan Braun of Jackson Township, Linda Slicker of Medina, and John and Denise Slicker of Virginia Beach, Va.

The former Carolyn Mauger and Edward were married Nov. 6, 1946, in St. Barbara's Catholic Church. They have 10 grandchildren - Chris, Trish, Jen, Joel and Jeff Braun, Jason and Matt Hornbrook, Abby and Johnna Slicker and Corey Kestner.

Carolyn worked for the Massillon Board of Education. Ed was employed at the Hoover Co. in North Canton.

They are members of St. Barbara's Parish.
